We asked Paul a few questions so you can get to know him better.
You’ve worked with some of the biggest names in enterprise software – IBM, SAP, Oracle. What key lessons from those experiences are you bringing to S4A?
Throughout my time at IBM, SAP, and Oracle, I’ve focused on custom development and solutions. The biggest takeaway is that sales isn’t about pushing products: it’s about helping customers by providing real value. My approach has always been to ensure that what we design is architecturally sound from the start. A solid blueprint allows us to build scalable, reusable, and supportable solutions that truly address a customer’s business needs. I like to think that I can get to the architecture faster than most.
What excites you most about the evolution of SAP and its ecosystem today?
What’s always impressed me about SAP is how deeply it embeds into a customer’s business. The technology goes beyond transactions – it helps solve real operational challenges. Here at S4A, we’re applying that same philosophy by getting to the root of asset management and supply chain issues and solving those bigger problems through better user experience and smarter solutions. That kind of impact, where technology directly improves how our clients work, is what excites me most.
How do you envision the role of technology evolving and shaping businesses in the future?
We’re at an inflection point. ERP systems are no longer just about transactions – they’re becoming intelligent ecosystems. The future lies in how we embed AI into these solutions, not just as a buzzword, but as a real enabler of business outcomes. The goal is to move from processing data to actually using it to predict, automate, and optimize. That’s where the next wave of value will come from, and it’s where we’re focused at S4A.
